Choisya ternata
Commonly known as Mexican orange, Choisya ternata is an aromatic small evergreen shrub that has glossy green leaves with white fragrant flowers in spring.
Cultural
Prefers a full sun position but can tolerate part shade, likes a well-draining soil. Fertilise in spring and apply mulch. Prune after flowering to maintain dense growth, can be cut back quite hard. Allow soil to dry between watering.
Landscape Uses
A perfect choice for low glossy hedging or as a background plant. Can be used in many garden styles, plant with Elaeocarpus eumundii and Aucuba for a tropical garden or with Lagerstroemia and Azalea for a formal garden.
