Extremely hardy plant with ornamental silvery grey foliage. Bright blue flowers from Autumn to late Spring add to its appeal. Responds well to clipping for hedging and to create tight clustered balls and mounds (see Topiary).

Cultural

Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. Extremely hardy once established, requiring little water, but responds well to a deep watering during hot spells and a feed of slow release fertiliser after flowering. Clip regularly to maintain dense form.

Landscape Uses

Tough nature makes it ideal for harsh Coastal and dry Aussie Mediterranean garden designs.

Can be kept to 70cm high x 80cm wide or left to grow to 1.2m high x 1.8m wide
