Cultural
Performs best in a partially shaded position, although it can tolerate full sun if provided with adequate moisture. It prefers well-draining, fertile soil that retains some moisture but does not become waterlogged. Regular watering is essential, especially during dry spells, to maintain its lush foliage. Minimal pruning is required to maintain its graceful shape; however, any dead or damaged branches should be removed in late winter or early spring while the tree is dormant. This variety is generally resistant to pests and diseases, making it a low-maintenance choice for gardeners.

Standards make striking features in garden beds and look exceptional when paired with low shrubs or groundcovers. Matching pairs are particularly effective for framing entrances and walkways, whether planted in containers or directly in the ground.
