A compact, modern apple cultivar known for its crisp texture, sweet flavour, and smaller size, making it perfect for fresh eating. In spring, the tree is adorned with clusters of pinkish-white blossoms, which attract pollinators like bees. Typically harvested in early to mid-autumn when the apples are fully coloured and slightly firm to the touch.
Cultural
Prefers a full sun position in well-drained, fertile soil. Regular watering is important, especially during the establishment period and dry spells, ensuring the soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged. 'Pixie Crunch' has good resistance to apple scab, a common disease in apples; however, regular monitoring for pests like aphids, codling moths, and scale is recommended. While partially self-fertile and capable of fruiting on its own, cross-pollination with another apple variety that flowers at the same time will enhance fruit set.

Ideal for limited spaces, espaliered Malus allows for apple growing without requiring extensive ground area. They look fantastic when trained against walls or fences, creating a visually appealing vertical garden element.
