Hydrangea 'Runaway Bride' is an exquisite new variety featuring unique cascading, garland-like stems adorned with large, crisp white blooms. It will flower for up to four months, from late spring to autumn. Its spreading habit provides the versatility of a groundcover or even a climbing Hydrangea, making it a standout choice for diverse garden settings. Warners have dedicated decades to growing and perfecting the best selection of Hydrangeas, ensuring you receive the finest and most vibrant varieties to enhance your garden.

Cultural

Thrives in part shade to full sun, ideally in well-draining clay-loam soil. Once established, it has low water requirements. Fertilise regularly throughout the growing season with an all-purpose fertiliser. Basal shoots should be allowed to grow, as they will be the flowering stems for the next year. By keeping these basal shoots, the plant will achieve the magical 'garland' growing habit—do not prune! It is frost hardy and can tolerate temperatures down to -10°C. Hydrangea Care & Maintenance

Landscape Uses

Ideal for semi-formal to informal hedging or as filler plants for established garden beds. Their abundant flowering nature and cascading branches make them well-suited for containers, creating high-impact displays in large baskets, urns, or even as espalier. Perfect for both cottage and formal gardens, Hydrangeas pair beautifully with traditional favourites like Camellias, Magnolias, and Azaleas.
