Rosmarinus officinalis 'Blue Lagoon'
A low growing semi prostrate spreadng shrub with aromatic, dark green leaves, The feature of this plant is the mass of vibrant blue flowers in winter and spring.
Cultural
Plant in a sunny spot, with moist well draining soil. Will tolerate quite dry conditons once established. We recommend an annual application of slow release fertiliser. Prune to maintain compact shape or allow to grow and drape over rockeries and walls.
Landscape Uses
Looks impressive in mass planting especially in flower. Keep in pots next the BBQ or planted in a kitchen garden where leaves can be used to flavour an array of dishes. Hardy and drought resistant, it is ideal for coastal and inland gardens. Read more about the use of this plant at THE GARDENIST
