Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna'
A stunning medium sized Meadow sage with deep violet flowers and attractive olive green foliage. One of Europes most popular Meadow Sage due to its reliable growth, strong features and stunning colour.
Cultural
Plant in full sun, in well draining soil. Remove spent flowers after blooming and cut back harshly mid winter to promote new growth followed by a medium prune after spring flowering to promote a second flush. Frost tolerant and requires minimal watering once established. Apply regular applications of liquid fertiliser from mid spring to mid autumn.
Landscape Uses
Stunning colour works well in a meadow planting, or massed together in a garden bed. Can be used as a pot specimen on balconies and in courtyards.
