Nepeta x faassenii 'Dropmore'
A showy campact shrub with fine evergreen foliage and striking mauve blue flowers in the warmer months.
Cultural
Plant in a full sun to part shade position, will tolerate most well drained soil types. Attractive grey green foliage produces masses of lighted scented blue/mauve tubular flowers spring through to summer. A hardy perennial requiring minimal watering once established. Prune early spring to maintain compact form prior to flowering. Can self seed.
Landscape Uses
This hardy perennial is extremely vesratile in the garden, perfect for edging and borders and fantastic in decortaive pots or containers. It is partuclarly striking when mass planted and a great plant for attracting butterflies into the garden.
