FULLSUN,PARTSHADE,DRY,COASTAL,FLOWERING,PRUNE

A perennial succulent with thick, fleshy, pale green to greyish leaves that form a neat, compact mound. In late summer to autumn, it produces striking clusters of star-shaped, creamy white flowers that gradually fade to soft pink, creating a frosty, ice-like appearance. The flowers sit atop sturdy, upright stems, which contrast beautifully with the thick foliage. The plant's overall form is dense and bushy, making it an eye-catching feature in gardens, especially when in full bloom.

Cultural

This hardy, low-maintenance plant thrives in a variety of soil types and is ideally suited to full sun, though it will also tolerate partial shade. Once established, it is drought-tolerant but benefits from occasional deep watering with a liquid fertiliser during summer. To maintain its tidy appearance, prune back old, dying foliage in mid to late autumn, cutting as close to the base as possible to allow fresh growth to emerge. It can withstand light frosts.

Landscape Uses

Perfect for rock gardens, dry borders, and succulent plantings due to its compact size and ability to thrive in poor, well-drained soils. It works beautifully in mixed perennial beds, adding texture and colour with its frosty blooms. Its drought tolerance makes it an excellent choice for water-wise gardens and coastal landscapes, and it also serves as a striking accent plant in container arrangements.
