Cercis chinensis 'Avondale'
A compact deciduous tree flowering spectacularly in spring with deep pink blooms appearing from near bare branches followed by heart-shaped deep green foliage. A wonderful compact feature tree with year round appeal.
Cultural
Prefers a sunny position, in well drained fertile soil. Will tolerate frost once established and benefit from a deep watering in the dry hotter months. Apply lime in autumn.

A great choice as a feature tree with its multi branched form and showy flowers. Year round colour interest from autumn hues, to pink spring flower and deep green summer foiliage. Relatively compact, making a decorative addition to smaller spaces.
