Westringia fruticosa 'Wynyabbie Gem'
This plant has a dense, bushy habit which makes it suitable as a hedging plant. It has silver green foliage and lilac/mauve coloured flowers, which emerge in Spring.
Grows well in a wide range of conditions and soil types. Thrives when clipped into hedges. Requires little water once established and is relatively pest and disease free.
Mixes well with traditional Mediterranean plants like Italian Strictas and citrus for an Aussie Mediterranean garden. Other modern natives that would complement Wynyabbie Gem include Elaeocarpus, Agonis Burgundy and Acacia Green Mist.
