With a keen eye and a steady hand, selected plants are clipped to create the spiral. Plants should be trimmed 3-4 times during growing seasons with garden shears to maintain spiral shape. Carefully follow the outline of the spiral by clipping off now growth a little bit at a time.
Spirals are mainly used in containers or garden beds as features placed either size of an entrance way in symmetrical matching pairs.
