Mandarin 'Imperial'

This thin skinned mandarin variety is popular due to its large, juicy edible fruit. A strong growing tree. Fruit ripens late Autumn/early Winter.

CULTURAL

Grow in a warm, full sun position in well drained rich soil. Mandarins are susceptible to attack from citrus pests like leaf miner and scale. Use appropriate treatment if detected. Prevent pest attack by growing in ideal conditions. Fertilise in spring and summer with a high nitrogen fertiliser.

LANDSCAPE USE

Mandarins love to be grown in containers. Great for kids to pick and eat.
