Hydrangea paniculata 'Sundae Fraise' pbr
A deciduous shrub which flowers throughout Summer and Autumn. Juvenile flowers are generally green and white, whereas mature flowers display a variety of pink hues, ranging from soft pink to vibrant hot pink.
A hardy, compact and quick growing plant that prefers a partially shaded position. It grows well in moist and well-drained soils. Water the base of the plant, avoiding the flowers and foliage. Prune to shape through out the year, avoiding Summer when they form bloom heads. Apply a slow release fertiliser in early Spring to attain optimal growth.
Semi shaded moist positions for a mass flowering display in Autumn. Their cream/pink racemes look amazing under Maples in Autumn colour. Hydrangea 'Sundae Fraise' pbr combines well with Pieris 'Katsura' pbr.
Whether planted in traditional or modern gardens, Hydrangeas are as popular today as they ever have been.
