Our Plants

Dietes iridoides

This hardy, clump-forming, perennial features dark green, strappy foliage. In spring it produces white, yellow and mauve iris-like flowers on tall stems.

CULTURAL

Athough hardy, performs best in well-drained soil, rich in organic material. Fertilise occasionally and water during dry spells. Do not remove flower stems as they continue to flower for several years.

LANDSCAPE USE

Ideal for mass plantings, along driveways or borders. Flowers create a striking contrast.
