Cloud Tree

Popular Japanese style topiary where rounded shapes, usually balls, are clipped on the ends of a branching irregular plant structure.

CULTURAL

The trick to creating a beautiful cloud tree is to have enough room for the shapes to grow into their eventual size and the overall look of the plant to have balance.

Prune 3-4 times during growing season to maintain rounded ball shapes. Trim off any new growth coming from the bare branches.
