Aucuba japonica 'Rozannie'
Also known as Japanese laurel, Aucuba japonica 'Rozannie' features lance-shaped glossy green leaves.
This is a versatile plant that looks great in all types of gardens. Flowers emerge at 3-4years – small inconspicuous purple blooms, followed by red berries.
Plant in a location which provides protection from afternoon sun. Prune lightly in Spring to remove winter growth.
A great filler in shady areas with impressive foliage when planted en masse. Foliage may be used in floral displays.Plant under Elaeocarpus eumundi for a tropical feel, with Azalea White Dragon or Camellia sasanqua for a Japanese gardens, or use in a more traditional formal landscape with Gardenias, Pieris and Helleborus.
